Why do some require an email?
Not a paywall — everything is free. WP-00 is directly accessible without a form. The others ask for your email to send the download link and notify you when a revised version is released. One email, no newsletter unless you explicitly opt in.
How are these different from the main guide?

Will the guides be updated?
